There are no more powerful or truer words than God loves you. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world..." This verse is talking about you. No matter what is in your past or what situation you find yourself in today, always remember God loves you. It was God's love for you that moved Him to act on your behalf. You see friend, each of us has a problem called sin. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Sin is anything we say, do, or think that breaks God's law. I am sure you would be willing to agree with me that we all have said and done things that have been wrong. That sin separates us from God. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death..."
God made a way to bridge the gap from us to Him. That bridge is a person, Jesus Christ, God's Son. Jesus' death on the cross paid the payment for your sin. He took your place and He is now offering forgiveness to you today. Romans 10:9-10, 13 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." God loves you. Today you can accept His love. Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and to have a personal relationship with you.
